2020 marks RAD’s fifth year as an organization and despite the year’s turmoil, it has also been an opportunity for us to reflect on all of the work and support from everyone in the RAD community that has gotten us this far. We want to celebrate five years of RAD with you – longtime members, supporters, and newcomers alike – and then look towards taking our next steps together in building our movement.
Please join us for RAD’s 2020 Membership Assembly and 5th Anniversary Summit, a virtual event featuring recently re-elected US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib as keynote speaker! During the event, we will also be joined for the launch of our new Catalyst Leadership program by movement influencer, author, and Fordham University Associate Professor of Law, Zephyr Teachout.
Following the event, from 4:30-5:30pm, we will be hosting RAD Political Party, a cocktail/mocktail hour and fundraiser with special guests and a live cocktail/mocktail making demonstration. We will be joined by special guests Jennifer Epps-Addison, President and Co-Executive Director of the Center for Popular Democracy, and Linda Sarsour, Co-Founder of the Women’s March and author of the recently released book “We Are Not Here to Be Bystanders”. We hope you will join us for one or both events!
