Progressive New England organizations to celebrate first Grassroots New England Endorsement at Sanders 2016 Healthcare Rally
Rights and Democracy, the first grassroots group in the Northeast to endorse Senator Sanders, will join with progressive voices to support Senator Sanders’ universal healthcare plan on Saturday. The group will be joined by several other progressive organizations, demonstrating the breadth of Senator Sanders support in New Hampshire.
“Senator Sanders has brought together the progressive voices of New Hampshire and Vermont to stand behind one vision, one hope of what our country can look like,” said James Haslam, director of Rights and Democracy. “The Senator shares Rights and Democracy’s core vision of an economically just society, built by grassroots initiatives and the individuals willing to band together to fight for change – like those individuals that make up Rights and Democracy.”
