As canvasser, you will be directly engaging community members and moving them to take action in support of a more progressive, equitable, and sustainble Vermont. You will be trained in holding effective conversations with people from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, and you will carry out the crucial first interactions necessary to educate and motivate constituents to join our organization as members, take action to pressure their elected officials, and become more active members of their democracy to hold politicians accountable to the real needs of our communities.

About the job:
30-40 hours per week, must be able to work evenings and some weekends
Carry out door-to-door mobilizing conversations with community members to invite them to take action to create positive change
Identify potential community activists and leaders
Salary: Canvassers will be paid $15/hour plus benefits
Location: Based in Burlington, VT, though canvassing will sometimes be focused outside of Chittenden County.
