(11/18) Movement Politics Training - Rights and Democracy VT - Burlington

Burlington Movement Politics Training

To move from protest to power we need to get serious about impacting elections, either by running for office ourselves or supporting campaigns run by our allies in the movement.

If you'd like to join our day-long electoral training, fill out this application form.  We will then follow up with a phone interview before accepting applicants.

The day-long training is led out by Political Engagement Director Isaac Grimm, along with RAD Comms Director Shay Totten and RAD endorsed State Representatives Kiah Morris, Diana Gonzalez and Selene Colburn.

Our training begins with a grounding in how we got to our current political situation, our long-term agenda, a power analysis, and then digs deeper in sections on how to build our base, the nuts & bolts of planning & executing a campaign, messaging & media, fundraising, and operating a field campaign.

We ask for a $50 donation to help us fund these trainings, or signing up as a $10/month sustainer.

*We will of course accommodate for those who cannot afford to make a full (or any) donation.
